Tricky Women, the only festival of animated film in Europe that is dedicated exclusively to animation by women.

Animation has influenced our everyday visual perception more than any other form of art in the past few years. Its boundless and diverse elements are used more and more often in commercials as well as feature films.
Tricky Women presents new animated short films made by women from all over the world.
The films on show deal with issues such as climate change, globalisation and migration as well as different kinds of relationships and sex.
Focusing attention on young filmmakers is one of the main concerns of Tricky Women. The Lucerne College of Art and Design, the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design Jerusalem and the Art Institute of California are presented in a special section devoted to film schools.
The Austrian Panorama reflects the rich potential of animated filmmaking in this country.
